ReSe2 is a semiconductor (~1.1 eV). The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. Rhenium Diselenide belongs to the group-VII transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC). 

The ReSe2 crystals produced at HQ Graphene have triangular shapes and a metallic appearance. We produce n-type ReSe2, having a typical charge carrier density of ~10¹⁶cm^-3 at room temperature.
