簡單來說截止閥的原理就是利用閥桿扭力給密封面一個向下壓力，依靠閥杠壓力，使閥瓣密封面與閥座密封面緊密貼合，阻止介質(zhì)的流入或者用來調(diào)節(jié)介質(zhì)的流速。截止閥的啟閉件是圓柱形的閥瓣，密封面呈平面或錐面，閥瓣沿流體的中心線作直線運動。閥桿的運動方式，有升降桿式（閥桿升降，手輪不升降），也有升降旋轉(zhuǎn)桿式（手輪與閥桿一起旋轉(zhuǎn)升降，螺母設(shè)在閥體上）。截止閥屬于強制密封式閥門，所以在閥門關(guān)閉時，必須向閥瓣施加壓力，以強制密封面不泄漏。

The opening and closing parts of the high-pressure Angle Globe Valve imported from German Locke are plug-shaped disc. It is only applicable to full opening and full closing, and no adjustment or throttling is allowed. The globe valve is a forced seal valve, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the disc to force the sealing surface of the globe valve not to leak. When the medium enters the valve from below the disc, the resistance to be overcome by the operating force is the friction between the stem and packing and the thrust generated by the medium pressure. The force to close the "high pressure angle globe valve" is greater than that to open the "high pressure angle globe valve", so the diameter of the stem should be larger, otherwise the stem will be bent.
