How did the bronze Buddha statue come into being? What are the religious and cultural connotation? It also starts with the establishment of Buddhism. The founder of Buddhism was the prince of the Kapila Kingdom on the Indian mainland more than 2000 years ago. His surname was Jotamo and his name was Siddhartha. Because he is a Sakyamuni, people honor him as Sakyamuni, meaning "Saint of Sakyamuni". Later, it was integrated into three main faction: Mahayana Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism and Tantric Buddhism.

若有眾生久處床枕，求生不得，求死不得的;又有在夜睡之中，夢(mèng)見(jiàn)gegui家親，或游險(xiǎn)道，或共鬼游，因此日久病深，眠中叫苦，凄慘不樂(lè)的。這些都是業(yè)道論對(duì)，未定輕重，所以暫不得愈，或難舍壽。這時(shí)在俗眼看來(lái)，當(dāng)然莫明其妙。但當(dāng)對(duì)諸佛菩薩像前，高聲轉(zhuǎn)讀地藏菩薩本愿經(jīng)一遍，或取bingren可愛(ài)之物，或衣服寶貝等，對(duì)bingren前高聲說(shuō)道，我某甲為是bingren，對(duì)經(jīng)像前，舍諸等物，或供養(yǎng)經(jīng)像，或造佛菩薩形像，或造塔寺，或燃油燈，或施常住。這樣對(duì)bingren照說(shuō)三遍，使他聽(tīng)清。如果bingren到了氣盡的地步，一日乃至七日以來(lái)，但高聲說(shuō)，高聲讀經(jīng)，此人命終之后，宿罪永解。

燃燈佛為過(guò)去佛，供奉三世佛的寺廟里。燃燈佛在佛主的左邊，兩手相選以拇指相觸，作禪定印的手勢(shì)。燃燈佛是預(yù)言佛主cheng佛的人。燃燈的意思是”出生時(shí)，身旁一切光明如燈?！八砸步腥紵籼印７馍癜裰杏腥紵舻廊?，即以燃燈佛為原型。地位很高，相當(dāng)于原始尊的副手。眾弟子，如太乙真人，廣成子等，都稱(chēng)他為老師。彌勒佛是未來(lái)佛，當(dāng)佛主功德圓滿之時(shí)，彌勒下凡到人間作佛。如今的彌勒形象，是中國(guó)一個(gè)叫契此和尚的形象。也就是民間的大肚彌勒佛。
