Description

LUBRODAL F 318 N is a water miscible die lubricant, free of graphite. It shows outstanding releasing-, lubricating- and propulsive effects and forms a white, adhesive releasing film of high lubricity on the engraved surfaces.

Field of application

LUBRODAL F 318 N is used in hot and warm forging of steel, in particular if graphite containing die lubricants cannot be used due to hygienic reasons. LUBRODAL F 318 N is especially designed for application by flooding and flushing, too.

Method of application

LUBRODAL F 318 N is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before application. It can be applied via suitable spraying systems but it is also suitable for an application in terms of splash water. A strong spray jet with adjustable throughputs of the nozzles as well as an adjustable air-fluid ratio are required.

Note

Standard values for the dilution of LUBRODAL F 318 N with water:
Difficult transformation: 1 : 5 - 10
Average transformation: 1 : 10 - 20
Simple transformation: 1 : 20 - 40
The optimal ratio of dilution has to be determined by operational tests.
