拉伸強(qiáng)度
由于UHMWPE具有朝拉伸取向必備的結(jié)構(gòu)特征,所以有無(wú)可匹敵的超高拉伸強(qiáng)度,因此可通過(guò)凝膠紡絲法制得超高彈性模量和強(qiáng)度的纖維,其拉伸強(qiáng)度高達(dá)3~3.5GPa,拉伸彈性模量高達(dá)100~125GPa;纖維比強(qiáng)度是迄今已商品化的所有纖維中高的,比碳纖維大4倍,比鋼絲大10倍,比芳綸纖維大50%。

UHMWPE還具有優(yōu)良的電氣絕緣性能,比HDPE更優(yōu)良的耐環(huán)境應(yīng)力開裂性,比HDPE更好的耐疲勞性及耐r-射線能力。
