GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The XB5353 series product is a highintegration solution for lithium-ion/polymer battery protection. XB5353contains advanced power MOSFET,high-accuracy voltage detection circuitsand delay circuits. XB5353 is put into anultra-small SOT23-5 package and onlyone external component makes it anideal solution in limited space of batterypack.
XB5353 has all the protection functionsrequired in the battery application includingovercharging, overdischarging, overcurrentand load short circuiting protection etc. Theaccurate overcharging detection voltageensures safe and full utilization charging.
The low standby current drains little currentfrom the cell while in storage.
The device is not only targeted for digitalcellular phones, but also for any otherLi-Ion and Li-Poly battery-poweredinformation appliances requiring long-term battery life.
